On the morning of July 4, Jingzhou University, a subsidiary of Chunlai Education Group, held the “100-day Sprint” 2023 Graduates Employment Promotion Meeting, and the Summer Employment Working Conference. Notable attendees at the event included Acting Principal, Bo Lu, Vice Principal Yongxing Gao, Director of The Admissions and Employment Office Yongcai Fan, (Vice) Party Secretaries of each faculty, counselors for the 2023 graduates, and staff of the Admissions and Employment Office. The meeting was chaired by the director of the Admissions and Employment Office, Yongcai Fan.
The meeting commenced with reports of the “100-day Sprint” 2023 graduates employment working status by (vice) Party secretaries of each faculty.
Yongcai Fan, director of the Admissions and Employment Office, has made arrangements for the summer employment working: First, each faculty should provide continuous employment guidance, and introduce specific job opportunities; Second, it is essential to confirm the destination of graduate files; Third, graduates facing employment difficulties should receive more precise assistance, with an emphasis on the principle of “One Graduate, One File; One Graduate, One Policy”; Fourth, the graduate employment data should be updated promptly, and employment status should be fully reported without concealment; Fifth, summer employment data should be verified to ensure the accurate statistical working based on statistical discipline.
The Vice Principal, Yongxing Gao, pointed out that employment is highly valued at the national level, and staff should arrange their schedules reasonably and work diligently. It is essential to enhance entrepreneurship guidance as entrepreneurship drives employment.
The Acting Principal, Bo Lu, stated that employment is the foundation of people’s livelihood, and a major issue for the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council. As part the staff responsible for promoting employment, we bear a significant responsibility, and fully recognize the importance of employment by improving our political awareness. The implement of the “Leaders in Charge” employment project involves leaders personally overseeing and supervising the process, defining the responsibilities and missions clearly for graduates who have not yet been employed, and ensuring the systematic implementation of employment promotion efforts.
Priority should be placed on promoting employment for unemployed graduates, with a strong emphasis on identifying and introducing new job opportunities. Through dedicated efforts and a sense of responsibility and urgency, employment guidance will be provided to offer support and encouragement to these individuals, empowering them to overcome unemployment.
