On 26th May，Shangqiu University, an affiliated institution of China Chunlai Education Group, held its highly anticipated "Collaborating for Career Success: School and Community Join Forces" career fair for the class of 2023. The event, held at the Southern Athletic Field, featured over 219 influential employers, including local and regional businesses, presenting a staggering 13,000 job opportunities for our graduating students.
Underlining the significance of our university's career fair, Chairman Bin Gao of the Shangqiu Human Resources And Society Security Bureau, along with Director Dongfeng Guo of the Shangqiu Employment and Entrepreneurship Service Center, recently visited our campus. They were accompanied by a delegation of directors from various county-level Human Resources and Social Security Bureaus. Distinguished school leaders, including Bingyan Zhang, Yinxue Cheng, Chunling Hou, Zaiwang Zhang, and Yizhan Pan, also attended the event to witness and support the career fair. This visit signifies the strong partnership between our university and the Shangqiu government in their joint commitment to promoting employment opportunities for our students.
The 2023 Career Fair at our university successfully connected graduates with a wide range of industries and offered positions aligned with their majors in education, arts, electronics and information, finance, mechanical, biology, agriculture and forestry, media, and management. Alongside these opportunities, the event included dedicated service desks, job and entrepreneurship policy promotion booths, resume assistance centers, and military enlistment policy consultation booths, providing valuable resources for both job-seeking graduates and attending company representatives. Graduates eagerly engaged with employers, discussing job responsibilities, career growth opportunities, salaries, and benefits, adding an atmosphere of excitement and enthusiasm to the fair.
At 10 o'clock in the morning, the South Athletics Field saw a flurry of activity as an increasing number of graduates flocked to explore various employment opportunities. Armed with well-crafted resumes and a thorough understanding of recruitment posters, they eagerly engaged in direct conversations with company representatives.
