  Hubei Health Vocational College is a full-time general university approved by the Hubei Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. It is also the first health-related higher vocational college in Hubei Province. The school's major setting adheres to employment orientation, serves market demand, and continuously optimizes the professional layout structure. There are 20 specialties including nursing, geriatric health care and management, health management, infant care service and management, rehabilitation engineering technology, midwifery, rehabilitation treatment technology, medical examination technology, traditional Chinese medicine health care, medical nutrition, and oral medicine technology. Among them, nursing, oral medicine technology, rehabilitation therapy technology and medical laboratory technology have been approved as provincial brand majors.

   

  The school insists on taking talent cultivation as its central task, continuously deepens the reform of education and teaching, adheres to the characteristic school-running models such as the integration of industry and education, the integration of work and learning, and the in-depth cooperation between schools, enterprises, and school administration, and implements the "1+X" certificate system, "order training" and other educational models. It has signed cooperation agreements with more than 60 institutions such as Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University and Xianning First People's Hospital for off-campus internship training bases.
